La Nascosta - Gisso Sauvignon Blanc - Castiglione d’Orcia, Tuscany
La Nascosta (Hidden) is Luca Mastrojanni’s brilliant continuation of his father’s legacy; taking lessons, passion, and intuition passed down to craft something entirely new. Just as his father once pushed the boundaries of Tuscan tradition, Luca dances along that line between respect and honesty, showing that Tuscany can surprise you even with a grape like Sauvignon Blanc.
Pale straw with green highlights, it sings with citrus zest, green apple, melon, passionfruit, wild herbs, and a lick of flinty minerality. Crisp, lively, and unapologetically fresh, this Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant, playful, and impossible to ignore.
Why we love it: Because Luca reminds us why innovation and passion matters. This isn’t just Sauvignon Blanc; it’s a story of legacy, curiosity, and the kind of risk that pays off beautifully. Every sip invites you to notice the details and the way a wine can feel alive and thoughtful all at once.
Perfect pairings: Grilled zucchini and asparagus, fresh shellfish with a squeeze of lemon, herby goat cheese or ricotta, crispy zucchini cakes with tzatziki, or a sunny afternoon with a bottle in hand.

Cà du Ferrà – Luccicante Vermentino - Levanto Hills PDO (Cinque Terre)
A brilliant glimpse of the Ligurian coast in a glass. Luccicante Vermentino bursts with citrus zest, wildflowers, chamomile, golden apple, and an explosion of sea spray minerality. Crisp, juicy, and impossibly refreshing, it’s a wine that captures the sun, the cliffs, and the gentle breeze of Bonassola along the rugged Mediterranean coastline.
Why we love it: Concentrated, powerful, and beautifully complex, this white has the depth to make a dinner unforgettable while remaining bright and coastal. Giuseppe and Davide’s passion, care, and unwavering commitment to excellence have brought recognition not just to their winery, but to the entire Ligurian coast, showing the world what this hidden gem region can truly do.
Perfect pairings: Trofie al Pesto (the Ligurian classic), grilled seafood, lemon risotto, focaccia with fresh herbs, or a platter of fritto misto di mare (fried seafood).

Iviti - S90 Syrah - Cortona DOC
A deep breath of Cortona’s hills. This Syrah bursts with blackberry, blood orange, and cracked black pepper, grounded by hints of lavender, dark chocolate, and tobacco leaf. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, it’s pure Syrah energy; bright, spicy, and elegant without the weight of oak. Juicy fruit, smooth texture, and that unmistakable Tuscan soul tie it all together in a wine that feels alive from first sip to last.
Why we love it: “S90” proves that Syrah doesn’t need to hide behind barrels to shine. It’s fresh, expressive, and wonderfully balanced. A modern take on Cortona’s signature grape that’s equal parts power and finesse. Luca and Elisa’s dedication to organic farming and hands-on care adds a sense of place and integrity to every bottle, making this wine feel honest, alive, and unmistakably theirs.
Perfect pairings: Grilled lamb with rosemary, wild boar ragù, roasted eggplant, aged pecorino, or anything smoky and satisfying straight off the grill.

Chianti Classico DOCG - Podere Bucine - Montefioralle
A true taste of Tuscan hills and honesty. Podere Bucine’s Chianti Classico captures everything we love about Sangiovese. Bright cherry, wild violet, lovely herbs, and that earthy hum of soil after the rain. It’s elegant and energetic, with silky tannins and just the right touch of spice. Fresh, pure, and wonderfully alive, it feels like a slow drive through the hills at golden hour, windows down and not a care in the world.
Why we love it: This wine reminds you why Chianti Classico stole the world’s heart in the first place. Loreto is a great friend and a rising star, making wines that are honest, lively, and perfect for every occasion. Teaming up with century-old Sangiovese vines, he brings energy, precision, and passion to every bottle. This Chianti is humble yet noble, vibrant yet grounded, easy going and perfectly paired with food. A classic reborn through love, patience, and a respect for the land.
Perfect pairings: Pici al aglione, pappa al pomodoro, sausage cooked in wine, pecorino fresco, or a sunset aperitivo with friends.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG - Contucci - Montepulciano
A thousand years in every sip. Contucci Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is more than wine, it’s legacy. From vines tended by the Contucci family as far back as the 11th century, to cellars carved into Montepulciano’s ancient walls in the 13th century, this wine carries whispers of time. Garnet, with kisses of dark cherry, violet, leather, and warm earth. Prugnolo Gentile (that local Sangiovese dialect) leads the blend, joined by Canaiolo, Colorino, and Mammolo, each contributing its voice.
Why we love it: Meeting Andrea Contucci and wandering the gorgeous streets of Montepulciano was one of the very first chapters of Grapestained, six years ago. The Contucci family’s honesty, warmth, and devotion to their land felt like stepping into a living history book, then tasting their Vino Nobile made it all unforgettable. A wine steeped in centuries of tradition, yet so approachable and joyful, it has a way of making you fall in love with wine all over again.
Perfect pairings: Wild boar ragù, roasted lamb, truffles and parmigiano cream over polenta, aged pecorino, or simply a quiet evening with family.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - La Fornace - Montalcino
Fabio Giannetti is the heartbeat of La Fornace, carrying forward a family tradition rooted in passion, patience, and Tuscan tradition. Every grape is hand-picked, every cluster carefully sorted, and punchdowns performed by hand. Fabio has perfected a rhythm of winemaking while honoring the work of his grandfather Giuseppe, and his parents Franco and Germana who worked amongst these vines for decades.
The wine itself is a masterclass of Tuscan elegance: black cherry, dark chocolate, tobacco, warm spice, and whispers of vanilla. Aged 36 months (80% Slavonian oak, 20% French barrique), it’s full-bodied, bold, and structured, yet silky and velvety, inviting you to savor every sip.
Why we love it: Fabio’s wines are timeless, complex, and perfectly poised to make any meal feel extraordinary. The dedication, combined with generations of family expertise, creates a wine that’s passionate, precise, and unmistakably Tuscan. This wine proves why Montalcino is one of Italy’s greatest wine regions.
Perfect pairings: Grilled steak, braised short ribs, rich Tuscan ragù, aged pecorino, or enjoyed with slow conversation by the fire.
